This 90 minute tour travels through working NASA buildings imparting historical and current information about the space program. Here mission control is ready to monitor the space station and other projects. In Building 9, simulation is hard at work. Check out the Orion Capsule and glimpse new technology designs. Prepare to be amazed when traveling through Rocket Park. The massive Saturn V Rocket is secured here, and must be seen to be believed. Other rockets in the area are just as impressive. Each Friday astronauts will discuss their experiences in space and participate in a question and answer session. Talking with these genuine space adventurers is a one of a kind experience not to be missed. Presentations are at 11 a.m. and 1:20 p.m.
Space Center Houston is open seven days a week. Operating hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday has extended hours of 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
